Donner Swim Club
Donner Swim Club is a competitive swim program affiliated with USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming. We provide the greater Columbus community with the opportunity to participate in a formal, structured swimming program designed to meet the needs of young people.
Beginning Competitive, Age Group Developmental, Age Group Elite, and Gold Swim Families,
Mark your calendars for the annual Donner End of the Year Banquet. It will be Tuesday, August 11th, 5:30 p.m at Donner Center. The banquet is an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of all swimmers for the whole swim year. There will be another blast when we get closer to that date with more specific details.
The Jamie Miller Invitational has concluded. Great swimming weekend! Thank you to the families who volunteered and donated items to make the meet a great success!

In the last 80 years, there has been a deluge of swimming presidents. In fact, at least seven of the 13 American presidents since 1935 could swim and most of these did swim to relieve stress, and, more generally, for fitness and health.
So I recently graduated from high school, and I made the decision to swim next year at a smaller NCAA Division III school.
Chip Peterson (Pine Knoll Shores, N.C.) and David Heron (Mission Viejo, Calif.) gave Team USA a sweep of the gold and silver medals in the Pan American Games men’s 10-kilometer open water race Sunday at Ontario Place West Channel.
In a finish where the entire podium was separated by just one-tenth of a second, USA Swimming National Team member Eva Fabian (Keene, N.H.) claimed gold in the Pan American Games women’s 10-kilometer open water race Saturday at Ontario Place West Channel.
